The red wine Charles Audoin Gevrey-Chambertin, vintage 2020 from the winery Domaine Charles Audoin has been rated in 2022 by Anne Krebiehl with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Bourgogne in France.
Subdued black cherry comes with the merest hint of vanilla on the nose. This is still rather closed. The palate, however, is wonderfully elegant with very fine tannins and a light touch that lets the vivid, beautifully captured, ripe fruit speak. The finish is long and subtle.
