The red wine Saint-Amour "Clos du Chapitre", vintage 2020 from the winery Domaine de la Grand'Cour has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser & Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gamay from the region Beaujolais in France.
An opulent savouriness emerges from the glass: gingerbread, black and green pepper, black cherry, tar. On the palate, the wine reveals texture and richness, but also a firm tannin structure, intense cherry fruit and a delicate mineral base. A full, silky, very gastronomic wine with excellent length.
