A rather savoury nose which has a hint of conifer bark, of incipient forest floor notes, there is a lovely, flinty touch of reduction but then opening up into tender red fruit. The palate brings, riper, rounder, exquisitely expressive fruit of immense juiciness, resonance and brilliance. There is a creamy texture, much generosity, pure, red cherry and much spice. Lovely.
