The red wine Minervois La Livinière AOC Clos de l’Escandil, vintage 2015 from the winery Domaine des Aires Hautes has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache from the region Languedoc-Roussillon in France.
Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate brightening on the rim. Black forest berries, a touch of nougat and herbs, tobacco nuances, attractive bouquet. Complex, juicy, ripe plum fruit, integrated supporting tannins, extremely sweet finish, mineral underlain, shows length and good aging potential.
