Very dark ruby-garnet colour, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle watery rim. Underlaid with black berry confit, savoury notes of cardamom and cinnamon, ripe plum fruit, orange zest. Full-bodied, very complex, pronounced in fruit dark fruit, vivid, well-integrated tannins, savoury and persistent, fine chocolate note on the finish, mineral aftertaste, very good length, will benefit from further rest in the bottle, already a complex food companion.
