The red wine Indigène Vieille Syrah AOP, vintage 2016 from the winery Domaine des Féraud has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Cotes de Provence in France.
Dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, fine ochre rim brightening. Spicy, black berry fruit, a hint of tobacco and cassis, a hint of suede and oak underneath. Textured, dark nougat, firm tannins, dark plum fruit, mineral on the finish, spicy-salty aftertaste, some asphalt and slate in the aftertaste.
