The red wine Syrah du Liban Grande Cuvée, vintage 2014 from the winery Domaine des Tourelles has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Bekaa plain in Lebanon.
Strong carmine garnet, deep core, subtle ochre brightening on the rim. Nuances of coconut and liquorice, blackberry confit, subtle vanilla, fine nougat. Juicy, sweet red fruit nuances, integrated acidity, elegant, ripe tannins, chocolaty on the finish, mineral, already well developed, salty and persistent, a multi-faceted food wine.
