The red wine Grands-Échezeaux Grand Cru AOC, vintage 2003 from the winery Domaine d’Eugénie has been rated in 2006 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Cote de Nuits in France.
Strong ruby garnet, delicate watery rim, brighter around the edges. An inviting mixture of dark berry fruit and roasted aromas, vanilla and cinnamon on the nose, a hint of sweet caramel, very suggestive. Perfectly polished on the palate, wonderfully integrated tannins, a fine chocolate touch, pleasant extract sweetness, a floral touch, which was also announced in the fragrance, shows a freshness and liveliness that is enchanting. Already a great pleasure to drink now, it has plenty of ageing potential.
