The white wine Monthélie Clos du Meix Garnier Les plus vieilles vignes du Monopole Parcellaire 28, vintage 2018 from the winery Domaine Douhairet-Porcheret has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser, Ulrich Sautter, Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Bourgogne in France.
A still youthfully-closed spiciness on the nose which, however, suggests complexity: peppermint, thyme, sage, cherry pit and sour cherry with some plum come across. The palate is creamy and fine with mellow but evident tannin, ripe acidity with the power being kept in check by good fruit expression and a very textural finish.
