Tasting Notes

93+
Tasting from 23.03.2022: Ulrich Sautter

An archetypal savoury Vosne-Romanée nose of candied orange peel, sweet cherry and herbs. In the mouth, the wine is dense with fine but also with firm tannins. The acidity is seamlessly integrated, supporting the robust structure in combination with a rather restrained mineral component. The vintage contributes some creaminess in the background. A complete Villages, rich in content and certain ageing potential.
