The aroma is surprisingly "cool", herbal, slightly peppery and spicy, with notes of juniper and wormwood. No overripe fruit at all! The palate has juiciness and dense, fine-grained tannins, a stable acidity and fine fruit sweetness, the warm vintage is most noticeable in small, drying notes on the finish, but overall this is a balanced, dense wine with very good perspective.
