The red wine Côte-Rôtie Lancement, vintage 2015 from the winery Domaine Garon has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter, Peter Moser, Dominik Vombach, Anne Krebiehl with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah
Slightly roasted aroma, elderberry pulp, tar, thyme, menthol, black and green pepper, roasted coffee. On the palate, the wine has a firm backbone, the tannins are ripe and fine, but still radiate firmness, they are juicy and even oily. A lively acidity and tactile mineral components provide additional tension. The finish is still quite compact, but has hints of complex savouriness.
