The red wine Musigny Grand Cru AOC, vintage 1990 from the winery Domaine Jacques Prieur has been rated in 2006 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Cote de Nuits in France.
Strong carmine garnet, delicate watery rim, brighter around the edges. Liquorice on the nose, some stewed sour cherries, fine touch of precious wood, underlaid with a spicy herbal note, classic aroma, delicate raspberry, very mineral. Full-bodied, powerful on the palate, clearly marked by the tannins, which are well integrated, shows good fruit, dries well on the finish, a wonderful food companion, secure ageing potential, a long-distance runner.
