Tasting Notes

93+
Tasting from 23.03.2022: Ulrich Sautter

Oat flakes, yeast and sweet cherry, with lightly herbal notes on the nose. Very dense in the mouth thanks to fine tannins in large quantities and a slight oiliness in the background - from the powerful alcohol perhaps. Good acidity structure and clear tactile minerality lends balance. The finish is still largely closed aromatically, but the wine has juicy elegance and length. Easily holds its own with Premiers Crus from the Côte d'Or.
