Tasting Notes
Dark berries and black pepper on the nose. On the palate, the wine has a linear structure, firm but also ripe tannins, plenty of juice and well-integrated acidity. A still somewhat closed, strikingly mineral wine that is just as reminiscent of northern Burgundy as Beaujolais: the domaine is located in the AOC Vézelay and has vinified a Moulin-à-Vent in 2021 because hail destroyed the yield from its own vineyards.
