The white wine Montrachet Grand Cru, vintage 2020 from the winery Domaine Marc Colin & Fils has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 100 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Bourgogne in France.
Quite closed on the nose, with hints of spring meadows, fresh corn and balsamic oak notes. On the palate, enormous drive unfolds right from the start, followed by the fruit, intense minerality, fresh and natural acidity, then more mineral notes which intensify on the finish, emphasising the perfect harmony between the acidity and texture. The finish is enormous and extremely homogeneous.
