The nose has the lifted sense of cherries preserved in Kirsch but the palate comes in with a tight contour, holding itself in a taut and firm web of tannins. Underneath it all is perfumed, ripe, almost Amarena-like cherry, that makes a silky contrast to the firmer elements. An exciting and very individual wine. Beautiful.
