The white wine Mercurey Les Grillots Blanc, vintage 2018 from the winery Domaine P. & M. Jacqueson has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser, Ulrich Sautter, Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Bourgogne in France.
It's still closed on the nose but there are notes of burnt almond, hazelnut and linden blossom. Weighty in the mouth but supply balanced with a discreet wood influence, sophisticated acidity and good length, the wine shows a tactile and mineral edge. It's dense, well-proportioned and opens beautifully mid-palate .
