Tasting from 07.10.2022: Ulrich Sautter, Peter Moser, Dominik Vombach, Anne Krebiehl

A complex nose: spicy, peppery, but also notes of red berry: ripe raspberry and sweet cherry. Also earthy notes, herbs and bay leaf. The wine is initially juicy on the palate, then develops dense, mellow tannins, the acidity is firm and gives the core strength in a structure that also has supple breadth. Will probably tend towards full-bodied suppleness as it matures in the bottle.
