The red wine Faugères AOC Lou Cazalet, vintage 2016 from the winery Domaine Saint Antonin has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Carignan, Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre from the region Languedoc-Roussillon in France.
Dark color. Blueberry compote, plum, mineral notes, slate and almost petrol-like balsamic undertones. Powerful body, filled to the brim with very fine-grained tannins, smoothly grounded, but also alcoholic. Needs a rustic meal as a sparring partner.
