The red wine »Les Hautes Garrigues« Gigondas, vintage 2019 from the winery Domaine Santa Duc has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser, Ulrich Sautter, Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Côtes du Rhône in France.
Purple violet in colour. Savoury aromas of dried shrubs, juniper and garrigue in the glass, then small wild plums and increasingly intense semi-dark chocolate. On the palate, smooth, bold, with abundant, very fine, hearty tannins, an extracted sweetness mid-palate, with a pleasant and insistent tactile minerality on the finish.
