The red wine Zind Humbrecht Pinot Noir Heimbourg, vintage 2019 from the winery Domaine Zind Humbrecht has been rated in 2021 by Anne Krebiehl MW with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Alsace in France.
Only the most subtle cherry notes rise with quite some air. The palate, however, shows layered fruit that seems to hold autumnal richness and undergrowth at its core. There is a bright vein of freshness, a lovely hint of oakleaf and beautifully tart, red cherry fruit. The body is taut and elegant and beautifully savoury with a lovely shimmer of white pepper on the finish.
