Powerful, flint ruby purple colour. Very intense and accessible nose, impresses with notes of lilac, fine cigar, then rich dark redcurrant, dark chocolate in the background. Plump and juicy on the attack and on the palate, unfolding in many fine layers of fine tannins, finely woven and crisp at the same time, with rich berry fruit and a long, very fresh finish.
