The red wine Riserva Ravera Vigna Elena Barolo DOCG, vintage 2007 from the winery Elvio Cogno has been rated in 2013 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Bright ruby colour with garnet rim. Opens on the nose with notes of cranberries, plums, lots of rose petals, inviting. Tightly structured on the palate, shows lots of juicy fruit at the beginning, then opens up with dense, tightly woven tannins, but polished at the core, spreads out long and continuously, long finish.
