The red wine Barbera Piemonte DOC, vintage 2020 from the winery Enzo Bartoli has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright, intense ruby with a fine garnet sheen. An inviting nose with pronounced notes of strawberry, some blueberry and a slightly resinous note - more reminiscent of Nero d'Avola than Barbera. Fine fruit on the palate at the front, but it then becomes quite diffuse on the back and somewhat harsh on the finish.
