Rich, deep dark ruby with violet shimmer. Opens on the nose with slightly smoky notes, licorice, then lots of dark berry fruit, inviting. Beautiful playfulness on the palate, salty, grippy, gripping tannins, builds well, with a finish of cranberries and cherries.
