The red wine Alteo Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Fasoli Gino has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Shiny ruby with garnet rim. Clear nose with rich notes of prunes, some molasses, plus lots of cloves. Lush and broad on the palate, shows a lot of sweetness, then opens with grippy tannin, but on the finish remains a somewhat sweet palate.
