Bright ruby red with a subtly brightening, brick-red rim. Slight hints of lovage, rose petal, tar, wet stone, cranberries on the nose, after a little time also coffee grounds and barley malt. Best to aerate before drinking. Surprisingly fresh on the palate, with juicy tannins and a slightly salty undertone, also slightly minty-ferrous, with good length, currently at a good drinking point.
