Tasting from 02.12.2022: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Dark, rich ruby in colour. Opens with slightly savoury notes, then lots of blood orange and lemon; overall a somewhat peculiar nose. There’s a lot of drying tannins on the palate, and the wine unfortunately shows excessively course.
