The red wine Versace Nero d'Avola Terre Siciliane IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery Feudi del Pisciotto has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nero d’Avola from the region Sicily in Italy.
It has a dark ruby red colour with a light bright rim. On the nose there are slightly animal and smoky elements, and after aeration aromas of rich dark cherry and stewed plum. On the palate it is brisk and juicy, unfolding richly with a dark berry fruit flavour. It is always juicy, even on the mid palate, and it has good drive, finishing with a salty note.
