The red wine Giambattista Valli Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Feudi del Pisciotto has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 87 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nero d’Avola, Frappato from the region Sicily in Italy.
Bright ruby with a flint core. The nose shows ripe blackberry and discreet wood savouriness with an echo of light earthy tones. Slightly bitter palate with striking acidity, clear notes of black tea, the fruit is rather flattened by excessive wood.
