Dark ruby. Black cherry on the nose, plum, some blackberry, herbs and an engaging, beautifully integrated, mineral-smoky spiciness. Dark, harmonious fruit. Medium-bodied on the palate with a beautiful balance of extracted sweetness and ripe acidity, ripe, fine tannins. Lingers for a long time on notes of dark forest berries and spices.
