The red wine Perricone Ribeca IGT, vintage 2007 from the winery Firriato has been rated in 2011 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Perricone from the region Sicily in Italy.
Rich, dark ruby with violet shimmer. Intense nose with notes of sandalwood, plums and elderberries. Very juicy on the palate, unfolds very precisely, presents itself with lots of juicy, present fruit, grippy tannins, shows good depth in the finish, the wood is well integrated in the aftertaste.
