Medium carmine garnet, broad rim, orange reflections. Fine precious wood spice, nuances of dried plums and candied orange zest, underlaid with black berry confit. Comparatively light-footed on the palate, red berry nuances, was accessible from the start, but still does not seem to have reached its zenith, not a great Fonseca, but a pleasant food companion.
