The white wine Langhe Arneis DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Fontanabianca has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Arneis from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Spicy aroma, caraway and liquorice, with an expansive texture on the palate, but also with good balance: despite the rather mild acidity, the wine does not seem broad, its mineral components and freshness keep it in balance, so that the salty and again savoury notes take centre stage on the finish.
