The red wine Barolo Riserva DOCG Castelletto, vintage 2016 from the winery Fortemasso has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Radiant, shiny ruby garnet colour. Nuances of ripe raspberries, dried rose petals and meadow herbs on the nose, inviting. Polished on the palate, with a hearty fruit core, grippy tannins in many layers give the wine rich depth on the finish.
