The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Fossacolle has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, elegant ruby red. Noble nose, ripe red berries supported by well integrated wood savouriness, delicate liquorice and tobacco, orange zest. Polished and full of drive on the palate, shows tightly woven tannin, still young, can and should grow-up, good foresight with harmonious approach and course.
