Tasting from 19.03.2021: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Bright ruby red. On the nose first slightly malty, then ripe berry fruit, certain pepper savouriness, blackberries at the end. On the palate grippy and compact, opens a little austere, loosely knit drying characterises the wood-dominated finish.
