The red wine Mascaro Barolo DOCG, vintage 2010 from the winery Franco M. Martinetti has been rated in 2014 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Brilliant, intense garnet red colour. Very intense and fragrant nose, shows lots of ripe raspberry, ripe dark cherries, also hints of redcurrant, appealing. Multi-layered on the palate, shows ripe fruit, especially plums and dark cherries, opens up with savoury, gripping tannins, dense and fine-meshed, very long finish.
