The red wine Octavius Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Fumanelli has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Bright ruby red with amber-coloured edges. A dense nose of nuts, pepper and blackberry. Some dark chocolate on the finish. Very compact on the palate with a lively acidity and youthful tannins. Still needs to be aged.
