Just a hint of subdued vanilla plays on the closed nose. The palate has an almost rustic juiciness with firm but fine tannins that give this a slightly muscular build - but body, fruit and freshness stand up to it and lend structure and balance. Lovely, long and ending on a note of juicy freshness.
