The red wine La Pevera Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery Geografico has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark purple in colour with a dark rim. On the nose, aromas of ripe plum, Amarena cherry, roasted barley, candle wax and bay leaf. The juicy palate shows good drive initially, with rich fruit and plenty of loosely knit tannins, but it loses focus on the mid-palate, with a slight drying finish.
