The red wine Akura, vintage 2014 from the winery Georgian Wines & Spirits has been rated in 2023 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Saperavi from the region Kakheti in Georgia.
Strong ruby colour, purple reflections, subtle ochre reflections. Fine oak spice, delicate herbs, black forest berries, some cassis, a hint of tangerine zest, some vanilla. Complex, fine nougat, fresh cherries, ripe, supporting tannins, a touch of caramel, salty note on the finish, already approachable and a good food wine.
