Tasting Notes

93+
Tasting from 12.09.2025: Ulrich Sautter

Pale straw yellow colour, cloudy. On the nose: orange confit. Some wood. Balsamic undertones. Also savoury, almost Muscat notes. Tangerine. Also a note of yew. On the palate the wine is velvety and silky, very creamy, powerful, intensely mineral, pronounced fruit (also due to the high alcohol). A bolide. But also chalky and mineral nuances.
