Tasting Notes
Wood and chocolate notes alongside graphite, leather, undergrowth and truffle. In the mouth it's elegant, with lots of juice and tension on the middle of the palate. The tannins are firm and ripe, but soft. A clearly mineral background promises certain ageing potential - for decades to come.
More about the tastingPowerful, bright ruby with garnet shimmer. Opens with slightly smoky notes, then dark cherries and plums, with a slight hint of liquorice and slate in the background. Round and balanced on the palate, with lots of juicy fruit, cherry and raspberry, fine, well-integrated tannins, builds over a long time.
