The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Giodo has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Noble, dark ruby with garnet. Wonderful, open-hearted and inviting nose of black cherries, ripe blackberries, plums, paired with slightly earthy nuances. On the palate then with fine-meshed tannin, opens in many layers, juicy, with fine texture, long and lasting, on the finish noble savouriness.
