Tasting from 20.02.2026: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Sparkling ruby red with slightly brightening edges. Initially herbaceous on the nose, lots of cold smoke and dark spice, reminiscent of black pepper and smoked paprika, with air comes ripe plum. Powerful and warm-hearted on the palate, ripe tannins, spicy, grueling finish.
