The red wine Radebeul Steinrücken Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Gut Hoflössnitz has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Saxony in Germany.
Cherries leap from the glass, with a slightly herbal and spiced note too. It's powerful on the palate, with texture and fire and some mellow, plump tannins in support. The ripe acidity and mineral tones build towards the juicy, fruit-driven finish, leaving the impression of a Pinot Noir very much from the power camp.
