Tasting from 16.03.2018: Peter Moser, Benjamin Herzog, Ulrich Sauter

Dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections. Cassis notes with a hint of violet, fresh blackberries, a touch of cedary noble wood, very attractive bouquet. Full-bodied and incredibly harmonious, fine fruit expression, ripe cherries, perfectly integrated tannins, impressive length, certain ageing potential for many years. Rarely does a red wine from a single grape variety have such complexity. Really quite excellent thanks to the grapes from the Sacrashe vineyard.
