Deep dark, youthful ruby garnet, almost black, opaque core, delicate violet edge brightening, intense dark berry fruit on the nose, attractive spice of tar, balsam, nougat, almost overseas character in the breadth of the sweet aromas, somewhat ethereal, full-bodied, star anise, very firm tannins that still demand a lot from the taster, a broadband wine, good potential, delicate coconut notes from the barrique in the finish.
